Childhood Memories

A Memory of Streatham.

I was born in Dulwich then moved to Stratham went to Dunraven around 67,68,69. I lived on Haybridge ave.. I remember Trevor H. Kenneth , Anthony D. I also went to Immanuel school. I think thers a Sainsbury there now. The church steeple is still there, at least I see it on google maps. If any of this is familiar please respond.
I also have fond memories of Stratham Common and the Rookery.
Mark.

Hi Mark
you must be about the same age as me I went to Tulse Hill School (dump) I also went to Immanuel school as did my six brothers and sisters 50s - late 60s we were the Cormack family do you remember any of us?
My goodness I cannot believe it!! My maiden name was Sharpling. I used to live in Heybridge Avenue, my sister still does. We moved there from Clapham in 1958.Mum and Dad were there until they died in 2006. I also went to Immanuel School. You are right the old School is a Sainusburys now. The Church is still there, although reduced in size, part of it is flats. I did not go to secondary School in Streatham, went to St Saviou'rs & St Olaves in 1965, so was at Immanuel 1959-1965.
