They knocked the Boys Club down today,
folks came from far and wide.
To see it come down brick by brick,
and reminisce with pride.

That famous landmark's gone for good,
all that's left's a giant scar.

As it came crashing to the ground,
so did a thousand dreams!

I bet if this was Salford,s Lads Club,
it would be fully restored!
