Comrades Club

A Memory of Waltham Cross.

Hello does anyone know of the comrades club in cross bridge street Waltham cross Bill Jamieson was the secretary of this club,he and his wife Mabs lived opposite the club I understand Bills portrate hangs over the bar along with his banjo. Does anyone remember when all the Jamiesons had get togethers in this club I think in mostly the 1950s I would love to hear from anyone who remembers Bill and Mabs Jamieson or Any of the Jamieson clan please email me freddy1212@virginmedia.com

Sorry..but the Old Comrades Club has Sadly closed down....
Hi Daniel thank you for telling me about the comrades club in bridge street ,I got the phone number and phoned the club and was told it had closed down ,I asked what happened to the port rate of Bill Jamieson which always hung behind the bar along with his banjo ,which my dad made ,it seems somebody named John can,t remember his last name he asked if he could have both as it was his dad! Bill and Mabs Jamieson had no children ,they was my aunt and uncle so the rest of the Jamieson family are not very happy about!!
We had some really great times over the years at that club we are a big family or what is left of us ,we all use to meet up for a family get together lots of happy memories.
Thank you once again for emailing me it was very nice of you to take the trouble .
