A Memory of Wellington.

What a find!! My great and great great grandparents lived in South Street, Wellington. I couldn't believe it when I had a closer look at this photo, on the right hand side of this there is a drapery shop and it has their name over the doorway. GRATTON. I had heard stories of the drapery shop in Wellington but never imagined that I would see it.
What a brilliant web site too.

It was lovely to read this from Mr Grahame Wilson. My father and mother took over Gratton's and they never changed the name of the shop. It was even on the letter heading used for years and years! I was born in the room at the first floor, front. Happy memories of that place.
