Virginia Water

As A child my father worked for qantas and we were sent to live in England from Australia. For a few months in1968 we lived in Badgers close not Badgers hill. Has this road been renamed?

RE: RE: Virginia Water

Virginia Water was a real Qantas place in the 60s. My father worked for Qantas and we lived in Badgers Hill (thats what I recall what the name was then). We got there at the end of 1968. The house was huge and and the end of the street was a brook where we made tree houses and generally ran around. As a 6 year old it was great fun.

RE: RE: Virginia Water

Must have been Badgers Hill that we lived in. I remember making snowmen with mum. Gradually we kids got cold and went inside. People walked down a path at the side of our house to see a middle aged woman building a large snowman by herself. It was a great place.
