Carolann Anscomb

County Grammar School For Girls c1965

My first girlfriend used to attend this school, and I used to run out of my school to go and meet her. We would often do our homework together at her parents' house. They were a lovely family, Bill and Ida Anscomb used to take Carol and I out for drives in the country and we would stop and have a picnic tea. In 1972 the four if us went on holiday to Benidorm, my first overseas holiday it was great and I still have very fond memories of those bygone days.
Carol became a very glamourous flight attendant and she married Peter Richards in 1978 and has two children.
In 1996 we met up again and for the next 4 years we remained close friends, but unfortunately lost touch again shortly after I moved to Worthing, which is one of my many regrets in life.
