The Heroes is boarded up and for sale in this photo. I suspect it was demolished soon after. Every one of the buildings in this photo was demolished in the 1960s to be replaced by the soulless Wellington Way arcade and adjacent shops.

I'm saddened by the loss of many of Waterlooville's historic buildings. Now they want to knock down Waterlooville's OLDEST building, Swiss Cottage. Please sign & share the petition urgently to try to save it. http://www.gopetition.com/petitions/save-the-swiss-cottage-in-waterloovile.html
Plans are to build 14 flats in its place and are being discussed in Gosport Town Hall 21st July 2015
