Templewood School.
I attended this school from 1954/55 - 1960. This view is taken looking towards the Infants playground and entrance to their classrooms, with the main dining hall in the background.

RE: RE: Templewood School.
I was a pupil at Templewood from about1957 to 1960. My name was Felicity Tuxworth and my sister Kate who was 18 months younger than me also attended the school. We lived at 55 Great Dell and my best friend was Kay Jones who lived at Little Dell. We used to share woodbine cigarettes which we would smoke at our Scottish country dance extra mural classes in the sick bay! The dance teacher was Miss Callaghan and headmaster Mr McKay. I would love to make contact with Kay. I moved to Cheltenham with my family about 1963 (my father was a probation officer in Welwyn). I became a hairstylist worked on a cruise ship in 1975 going to Cape Town, South Africa, and married the ship's photographer and now live in Cape Town. It's stunning! We have 2 daughters, Johanna who is mentally challenged and Lucy Faith, who married 22 months ago.
