I have looked again at this photo and now think it is the last cottage on the left as you leave Lockeridge on the road to Alton Barnes.

I agree with Susan Gallagher; this is not in West Overton but on the way out of Lockeridge, almost opposite a cottage which burnt to the ground in the late 50s-60ish.
