On my previous comment I said that Sandy Hole lane was opposite the Bell pub, sorry this of course should have been the Phipps Arms pub.

I live at 'Highland Villa', 139 Westbury Leigh, formerly the'Old Manse'. I have lived there since 1984 and know it was built for the Minister of the Baptist Church. It was only sold off from the Church in 1965. I would love to hear any stories or see photos or anything connected with the history of my house. Lesley Blaber (Mrs)
