The Crown

I was landlord of the Crown from 1971 to 1973.  I was only 19 and apparently the youngest landlord in England at the time.  My father, Bernard Edmund had been landord at the Prince of Wales  across the road, for many years.   We had some wonderful times at The Crown.

RE: RE: The Crown

I am trying to find out 1. if the pub 'The Bricklayers Arms' still exists, and 2 what it has been re-named. It was owned by my grandfather George Collins until approx 1948/1949.

RE: RE: The Crown

The last time I was in Westcott was four years back. The "Bricklayers Arms" had been closed some years previous to that and I believe is now a private residence.
