Edward Charles Friend was my father. His first wife died in 1930, he married my mother in February 1933 and I was born in December that year. Dad died in 1957, aged 88, and active until about three weeks before he died. He was a wonderful man, everyone loved him, I would love to know more of your side of the family please.

Lesley Williams, Do you know which brother of Edward is your line with this family? I know Edward (my Dad) had brothers George, Arthur and Charles also a member of his family went to Canada as during the war we had some food parcels from them. I remember a Wyn who was married to an Edward, they lived in Toronto, and Bill who worked on the Canadian Pacific Railway, his home was Ontario. I do not have any more information on them, but would love to know more, if you can help.
