Heath House School
I remember seeing John Lennon and some of the other Beatles coming to pick up Julian Lennon from school. I was at Heath House School from 1961 until 1965, I'd love to catch up with some of the people that I was at school with then, or even see some pictures of Heath House, I remember the old 1920's cars that we were allowed to play in, and the old swimming pool, which seemed so big then.

I was at Heath House between 1966 and 1970, when we moved away from Weybridge. The school was run by Miss Sylvia and Miss Delta. Miss Sylvia would play the piano for hymns. Miss Delta would lead us on star jump exercises out on the quad. Miss Delta would also bring round a big bowl of people's left over food and berate us for not finishing everything on our plates. The food wasn't too bad, but Friday's fish pie would have benefited from fewer bones! I remember the enormous,very deep and very unheated swimming pool - but what fun on a hot day. The grounds were great to play in with lots of interesting bushes that made good camps and hiding places. There was a particularly good rhododendrum bush that we used as the spaceship for Space Family Robinson adventures. The 1920's cars were normally out of bounds, so getting a go in the driving seat was a real treat - what a good idea they were (no doubt helped by it being before the days of health and safety).
