I was at Bembridge School above Whitecliff Bay from 1953 to 1958. I used to spend many happy hours in the bay and on the top of Culver Down.

RE: RE: School Days

Hi Chris, do you know of a girl called Wendy and a girl called Lydia? Many years ago I worked with them in the Sandrinham Hotel and the snall hotels on Sandrinham promenade, one of the owner's names was Ken, he and his wife lived very high up on some cliffs. I think the name of the little hotel in the front was called "DUNROAMING". Very pleasant people to work for. We stayed in chalets at the back of the hotel and used to go to a disco on the corner of the promenade ,this was in the 1970s. Also many years ago we used to stay at the then Brambles Holiday Camp, had some wonderful holidays there x
