Memories...from Pat Round
My memories relate to 1949-1968 and I remember going to St. Paul's church hall to bop until I dropped with friends, and then had to walk home to Low-hill, shoes in hand, as we had missed the last bus. Happy times remembered with fondness. Regards Pat Hunt (Cook, nee Round). I now live in Perth, Western Australia and would love to catch up with anyone from the old country, and share memories.

RE: RE: Memories...from Pat Round
I remember St Paul's dance hall about the same years you did, and walking home after missing the last bus, but I had to walk to Fordhouses. I and my pals also visited the Bushbury Arms pub for their dances and music on Wednesdays and Fridays. Living in Bushbury I would have no doubt you went to that pub as well. It seems most of us from those times, all we did was go dancing, go to the pictures and go for walks over Bushbury Hill but the old town's changed a lot.
