Caption for Kingstown, The Harbour 1897:
The harbour was begun in 1817, and ever since has been the principal terminus of the Holyhead run. The town was renamed Kingstown in 1821 in honour of a visit by George IV, but reverted to its former name of Dun Laoghaire after independence.
