Sparked a Memory for you?

If this has sparked a memory, why not share it here?

I am not a native of Aveley. I was born in Barking and spent most of my childhood in Dagenham. My father's sister and her husband moved to South Ockendon (Gatehope Drive) when I was very young. Every Sunday we would travel to see the 'out in the sticks' relatives. If we didn't go by van as a family, I would go on my own and catch the green line from Dagenham, Chequers (was it the 721 or 375? - rings a bell). ...see more
Omg, I remember so many of you. I started at Love Lane in 1965 and left in 1970. I was friends with Susan Harvey, Carol Head, Jackie Kirk, Karen Harman, Barbara Cox, Lesley Davidson, Libby Campbell, June Tyler, Liz Knapp, Christine Havis, Sandra Glendenning; Janet Hobb, Deborah Daly (these are the few names I can remember). I can remember having two fights on the green outside the school with Susan Harvey ...see more
I remember the school well, I was there from 1966 - 1970. I remember all the Merediths, Miss Close, Miss Norman, Paddy Rice, Mr Mumford and Mr Johnson the head master. I would love to meet up with some of the people I went to the school with. If anyone is out there that went there in these years please contact me. I would love to hear from anyone, we had some great times there. Please make contact if you were there, look forward to hearing from anyone.
This was the school I went to from 1963 until I left school in 1967. I have many fond memories of getting into trouble with a little help from friends. Mary and Wendy were two of my closest friends. My name back then was Edith Richards and I lived in Usk road on the Kenningtons estate. I was there from 1953 untill 1971 when I got married and then moved to Canada in 1973. I would love to hear from anyone who remembers me.
