Borwick's Baking Powder Factory, Penge
A Memory of Penge.
My father used to work at this factory in Penge as a Chemist. We moved down to Selsdon when I was five (1950) and then we moved back up to the Wirral when I was 11. Does anyone remember exactly where the factory was and does anyone remember Selsdon in those days?

I think this was also known as Greek's who also made pre mixed cake mixes .
It was located in Croydon Rd near the junction with Franklin Rd and is next to the garage on the corner
I used to scrounge samples through the window on my way home from school off of the cooks as they as they tested the mixes
