Tatenhill School 1960 1967
A Memory of Tatenhill.
Tatenhill was just about cut off and we walked to school, we did not take the Midland red 815 bus. It was deemed too dangerous so we walked from the Acorn. I have brilliant memories of sitting in front of the fire and moving our desks around the room to keep warm. I do not remember the cocoa but I do remember Miss Read's sister and small bottles of school milk. And Miss Read's dog was called Happy about 1965.
