“I posted a comment about how I was evacuated to Ystalyfera at the beginning of World War 11 (late 1930 ) and stayed with my aunt and uncle at Bryncelyn. Low and behold I have received a reply from the son of my long lost cousin, Conway Rees! They now live in Chicago USA and through the Francis Frith website we are now in contact after 60 years. I can't believe it and am eternally grateful for this opportunity”

“Dear Francis Frith, I am 61 years old and for some years have been unable to locate a grave in North Wales based on a single photo taken in the 30s by my father (now deceased). Thanks to your Photo Gallery I found a cemetery that I didn't know existed, emailed them, and have located that grave. Your gallery is of inestimable value as a research tool. Thank you so much. Yours sincerely, John Hamilton-Smit”
