“I am writing to thank you for your kind e-card service at this awful time. As I do now wish to take too much advantage of your service - I have sent 5 so far for Easter - please let me know if there is a limit of use, and the price of the cards if I exceed the limit. I must say they have all been well received and cheered the recipients considerably at what is otherwise a dismal time. Thank you again. Keep Safe and Well”

“Thank you very much for the excellent, prompt service and delivery of my order. It's a gift for my father's 94th birthday next month, hence the search for a photograph of somewhere in Plymouth (he was born there and always lived there) from the year 1925. I am sure he is going to be delighted with the gift; it's always so difficult to find something "different" for a gift when somebody has attained that age and has everything! Much appreciated.”

“I have just completed a jigsaw including four pictures of historic Repton (Derbyshire) and was delighted to find one actually showed a car my family owned, parked nr The Arch, Repton School. It was a Ford Squire, reg number clearly visible as 60 ARB-my father was the village policeman in the 50's, I remember being put in the back of the car with my sister, asleep in the middle of the night, to travel on family holidays to Cornwall! It was a lovely surprise..thankyo”

“I just wanted to say thank you very much for the very prompt delivery of the items I ordered for my father's 90th. The excellent telephone service and the safe delivery of the items yesterday, has meant that I don't need to wait in panic on the day in fear of missing the post. “Hello, just wanted to let you know I really enjoyed seeing the old photographs of Aberystwyth. My grand mother lived quite a lot of her youth there, and I was pleased to be able to see the town as she must have seen it. She married and with her family moved to Australia, so her descendants are all Australian. She was very well loved, and it's nice to make this connection with her youth. Thanks”

“I have just been contacted by a Heather Shepherd who recognised my surname as it turned out her grandmother and I were neighbours for the first 20 years of my life. I write to say thank you to 'Francis Frith' for enabling my memories to become so active and I recommend to any one searching for friends/relatives do not give up as Francis Frith makes it all possible. My impending visit to UK in December 2011 has suddenly become even better than I was expecting. The above has just been posted and since I realise that you may not read every posting I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and your colleagues for the most wonderful site on the Internet.”

“I posted a comment about how I was evacuated to Ystalyfera at the beginning of World War 11 (late 1930 ) and stayed with my aunt and uncle at Bryncelyn. Low and behold I have received a reply from the son of my long lost cousin, Conway Rees! They now live in Chicago USA and through the Francis Frith website we are now in contact after 60 years. I can't believe it and am eternally grateful for this opportunity”
