Memories Of Kilburn
A Memory of Kilburn.
Born of Irish immigrants in 1951, maiden name Power, I lived in Maygrove Rd and used to visit Timms sweet shop alot. I went to Kingsgate School and the Grange Park most lunch times, and every Sunday I had to attend mass at Quex Rd Church. My parents used to go to the Black Lion pub most Saturdays and my father used to also go to the North London pub. On Sunday evenings I used to go to the State cinema and also the Grange if I wanted to see a horror movie, as it was always darker inside the Grange, and if enough money was there, chips and a pickle onion on the way home, very happy times.

If you are you would remember me. I went to Kingsgate and HAmpstead Schools. You had a cousin called Hazel, also lived in Maygrove Road. My Gran used to live there as well.,I used to visit your house when you moved into Chrisrchurch Ave. This I hope is correct and tour the same person. My mum still lives in Kilburn and I visit her regularly although I live abroad now.
