I lived in Perry Springs 1955-67 and had a paper route that took me past the White Horse down the A11 and when I turned 16 I got a moped and I used to get gas at a gas station to the south of the white house not sure how far south. I do remember when the A11 bypass went in the gas station was right where the old A11 left the new A11

Hello, there is (or was) a car showroom opposite the Sun and Whalebone pub, some 400 metres south of the White Horse which is up the road towards the camera taking the photograph. Before that it was a thriving petrol station for years and years and is at the junction of the old and new A11 so I agree with Carl (I lived in Fullers Mead 1953-1976).
