A Memory of Shute.

I attended Pippins the Shute prep school in 1946, we used to go to Shute school occasionally, once for a May Day play when I had to carry a doll. we swam in the river in Axminster and went on the train to Lyme Regis on a Sunday. Can anyone tell me when Shute School closed?

I was also wondering when Pippins closed. I was there at the age of five, so from 1957 thereabouts, with my sister Nikki. Older sister Debbie went to Shute and I am sure we visited too but can't remember much about it. Loved Pippins, I was very happy there but do you remember Mip and Pip's surname by any chance? Thanks Tessa Billyeald
