“Just a quick thank you for the lovely framed maps - even better than I imagined they would be. One for my son and daughter in law for their new home in Wales, and one for us in Northamptonshire. They are fascinating and show how much places have changed over the years. Again thank you so much - excellent service and prompt delivery”

“Hi there, Thank you for the beautiful Burleigh print from the 1950s which arrived safely this morning. It is for my husband for his birthday in a couple of weeks and I think he will love it. I was really lucky in that the view this photo looks out on is actually our house!! Interesting to see how much it has changed over the years! Many thanks for an excellent service. I will recommend you to my family and friend”

“I was very excited to see this on your website to buy. My parents owned the village shop in the picture from the late 1950's (not sure what date) until 1965 when I was just under 2 years old. They sold your postcards in their shop and I still have some tucked away somewhere. They obviously were very involved in village life although both are now deceased. They used to talk very fondly about their time in Wetheral and the village characters. Thank you for making my Christmas with being able to purchase this item”

“Hi Thank you so much for the framed map of our 'home', it is lovely to be able to match the places in the area to those shown on our house deeds, we have these since the land was a field, just as shown in the map! I only ordered the map by via the website on Sunday evening, and it arrived Thursday morning, a lovely surprise - thank you. We are now going to pick out pictures for a jigsaw for my parents of the places they have lived in for the last 50 years! Kind Regards Jane”

“I must apologize for the lateness of response but have only just finished reading said book which I found most informative. The quality of the photographs seems better than previous and the layout of the pages led seamlessly from one to another. All in all a thoroughly good read which leads me to quote some previous author who said, “the book to read is not the one that thinks for you but the one that makes you think.” Your books certainly make you think”

“I posted a comment about how I was evacuated to Ystalyfera at the beginning of World War 11 (late 1930 ) and stayed with my aunt and uncle at Bryncelyn. Low and behold I have received a reply from the son of my long lost cousin, Conway Rees! They now live in Chicago USA and through the Francis Frith website we are now in contact after 60 years. I can't believe it and am eternally grateful for this opportunity”
