It takes its name from the adjacent Stile Path through the bushes (top left) from Pound Street to the Cobb.
We look eastwards from the bushes and wall of The Grove (left).
Central Garage has its double doors closed and the posters on the window indicate that the business has ended, soon to become Uppingham School Bookshop.
The bushes on the left are part of the grounds of the Town Hall; the building was erected in 1927 as a convalescent home, but it was taken over by Skegness Council in 1964.
The bushes on the right have gone, to be replaced by shops.
The Sun Inn is on the right behind bushes.
The barrels to the left of the arch probably belong to the Bush Inn, whose cellar entrance can be seen between what were probably the naughty boys who cropped up regularly in local newspapers of the
Look carefully at the unified appearance of this cul-de-sac as it backs onto Bush Hill Golf course.
