Indigo
A Memory of Dartford.
Hi,
Anyone remember a shop called Indigo in Dartford?
I used to go to Dartford on the train, with my mum, once in a while, and I remember a shop called indigo, I can’t remember what it sold (I’m guessing jeans) It’s a memory that’s stuck in my mind.
I went to Dartford recently, after many years, came out of the station and didn’t recognise a thing, came down a set of stairs, straight onto a dual carriageway ….. I’m sure that in the 70s , my mum and I walked down a sloping road from the station to the high street and shops??
I’m guessing everything has changed in Dartford, just like everywhere else.
If anyone could fill in my lapses of memory concerning indigo and Dartfords changes from the early 70s, I’d appreciate it.

But yes, huge changes.
I will look properly for the shops, to go down the sloping road that I remember. Good it’s still there. I was in a rush last time.
