Once we all arrived many holidays were spent with Grandma and Grandad we would swim at crook log swimming bathes we would play at averyhill park and danson park we had so much fun but best of all was working with her at banardos charity shop in Eltham high street Grandma did lots of work for charity ,she made stuffed toys wombles and fish mobiles made from ribbon which she made on her fingers she tried to teach us but we never got it right she had so much patients with us and everyone , we would get the bus as she had now moved to black fen to a bungalow as Grandad and Grandma wanted to down size .
