You don't mention where in Fenham you are and I don't know the place well. I lived there as a school girl in the mid-50's. I lived in Fenham Barracks and went to the Sacred Heart Convent for a couple of years, until my father's time in the Army finished. We then moved to the Byker area, Gibson Street to be exact and left when I got married. Now I only see Newcastle for a few days a year if I am lucky. It is a wonderful city! I have written my memory of Fenham: 'Beginning in Fenham Barracks - I would love to hear from anyone from Newcastle, whether they might know me or not.
Hope your search brings you some satisfaction.
