Happy Days During School Summer Holidays
A Memory of Garelochhead.
I can always remember the long hot summer days swiming in the burn at the head of the loch with my twin brother Johnnie, Hugh Macintyre, David Clarke and others; we also used to go up the hill to the cairn. Our treat on a Saturday was to go to the Tower cinema in Helensburgh then on to the Kings Cafe for ice-cream and back on Foys bus. We also remember Annie Robertson and her sister, plus Mrs Black and others, the school dinners were great. Have lots of happy memories also when going to work on the train at Garelochhead Station, Mr Dewar was the station master then.

Ronnie, were you and your brother the minister's boys? From what you record, you must be.
Please confirm.
I am David Wylie who lived there even played with you. We moved away to England in 1956.
I remember all your friends names.
