19th Walsall Scout Troop
A Memory of Maerdy.
I was a scout belonging to the 19th Walsall troop, around 1958 / 59 we camped the traditional way on a farm at Melinywig, the farm was called something like Ty Teg Barc, the field sloped down to a river. The farmer's son was called something like Clunn, he taught me to tickle trout. His mother cooked us jugged hare, brilliant . We all had a fab time. Does anyone know the whereabouts of the farm? I would love to see it again.
Many thanks,
Dave Richards
