A Memory of New Tredegar.

my mum lived here way back in 1932? she lived in the valley with family. her father worked down the mines.
visited this valley cant remember when but those days you left back door open for neighbours who popped in. she was the only person from all friends passed the test for national service .

Can't leave your back door open today as you are likely to get robbed. Houses get broken into very often while you are asleep. Police regard this as a non emergency ,and if you are lucky a support officer will knock on your door two or three days later.
