A Memory of Pelton Fell.
We lived in Alice Street,next door to where old Minnie used to live, with the trees in her garden. I vaguely remember the pavillion.
Ernie the tramp and Meg used to go to me grans to borrow a tea bag.(mad)

Wallabys shop, Longbones, the Rays, we used to help Ray out in the shop, you might remember us lads hanging around outside lol.
The roly poly hill brings a smile to my face lol
I remember me dad taking me to see the strippers down the ranch on my 18th birthday,
Peggy Potter, collecting pop bottles to take back to shop for 5 or 10 pence a bottle, getting the bmx track built up the rec. Playing tallio, nocky nine doors, gates, old Steve Bowen, old bussy was always shouting at someone lol.
