A Memory of Seal.

My Nanna went to oak bank open air school Sevenoaks kent in the late 40's. We are sending her back to the area for her 80th birthday in 3 weeks, we have been collecting pictures of inside the building but can't find any of the building itself and even got in touch with the library and the London archives but no one can help us. We would be very grateful if anyone could lead us in the right direction or send us a copy of any of your photos.
Thank you

Hi, I know it's been awhile from this post but I was there in 1958/9 and have a picture/postcard from the outside of the building which I can send a copy if you let us know your email address

Kind regards

Carol
I have just registered with Francis Frith. I know your comment was some time ago but do you still have a photo of oak bank school ?
If so I would very much like to have a copy. I was there in 1950 and do not have any photos at all.
Hi, Carol. I was also at Oak Bank Open Air School for about a year. I remember taking afternoon rests in the open air, going for walks in the woods and then tea, once again in the open air if weather pemitted and we shared the tables with white squirrels. Does anyone else remember the white squirrels? They were quite tame.
Carol, if possible, I would also like a photo of the outside building othe building. If you want me to send my e-mail, I'll do so. Please let me know:
My aunt worked in the seal laundy in wilderness avenue,it has now been converted into lovely apartments so i am so glad i took some photos before that happened. My aunt lived there for many years and i remember playing amongst the large industrial machines,no health and safety rules back then. She lived in a flat and there was a cafe used by all the staff of sealclean i think that owned it back then.I know it was stables before this as me and my brothers played in the court yard.Fond memories.
