Dawlish Road

A Memory of Selly Oak.

I was born 1944 @ Moseley Hospital, lived and grew up in Dawlish Road and loved every minute of it. My name was Joan Clarke, lived 3/44 at the back. Went to Tiverton School and Selly Park Girls. I remember all the shops at Bournbrook, it was a great shopping place now it is a very untidy place.

I lived at the Bournebrook hotel from 1956 to approx. 61/62.My sister Gillian Pountney born in 1945 myself was born in 1947,my name is Pauline we both went to Tiverton rd and Selly Park school for girls.Im sure my sister knew a Joan Clarke.I remember Janet Martin she lived in the back to back houses in Dawlish Road.
