Born In South Harrow In 1947
A Memory of South Harrow.
I lived at 49 Kings Road South Harrow from the age four, my parents name was Lambourne. I attended Roxeth Manor School with my elder sister and younger brother, spent 20 years in Kings Road when in 1968 got married. My father was a Milkman in Northlot, at the weekend and school holiday l helped him and really enjoyed from when we had horse drawn cart then battery. My Mum worked at the local variety at the end of Kings Road, my friends and myself enjoyed the miss shaped cakes after school. Living in South Harrow was great, local areas close by, you know all the neighbours could always ask for help, your friends close by.
