St Margarets 1914 18 War Dead
A Memory of Stanford-le-Hope.
There are 5 gentlemen buried in our churchyard along with inscriptions for 2 others, their deaths being associated with the First World War. I have began to research these gentlemen to take away their anonymity for I think they deserve more than that.
