We Know Who You Are
A Memory of Wellow.
This is a 'photo of my husband and his sister, Christopher and Harriet Bryant, aged 8 and 7 respectively and was actually taken in 1953. They lived in Wellow from 1950-1955 and resided in Clematis House, a picture of which is also in your collection. Their father ran the local post office which is where the photographer would have been standing to take this shot.
My husband says that the reason his head is looking down is because he was annoyed that the photographer wasn't satisfied with the shot and they had to keep walking up and down.
