A Memory of Wembley.

I grew up in Wembley (Monks Park area) and attended Oakington Manor Primary and then Wembley County Grammar. After school I worked and trained as a nursery nurse at Roundwood Park nursery in Willesden.
I was married at Park Lane Methodist Church to my lovely husband in 1969 - 50 years ago! We then moved to Kent and now Hampshire but of course your photos and memories have now triggered so many of my own memories. Thank you!

hello my family lived at sunnyside 952 harrow rd around 1910 their name was waller, grandpa had a sping blind factory at oxhey ,my mother was born at bushy maud house water lane watford 1916, in the 40s grandpa sold land when wembley staidium was extended for the olympics i am trying to get details of that . i think sunnyside was made into flats and was sold in the 60s\ it looks a nice area jo johnson
