A Memory of Blaengwynfi.

This is the old afan colliery in full swing until the late 60's early 70's. This picture was taken from the Bwlch Road looking over Jersey Road. The lone white building is the old vicarage.

Hello. My name is: Gordon Speck. My grandfather (Howard Speck) used to work here. His son: Cyril Rex Speck moved to England at some juncture. I am keen to trace history/relatives. I know that he (grandfather) once owned a cafe/ flat on Jersey Road and was married (I think) to Kate or Katie; additionally, Kate had a daughter: Helen who subsequently married Clive. That's all I know...
