Saturday Morning

I also enjoyed the Saturday Morning Pictures and got my first pocket money that way. Remember the song we all had to sing - 'We come along on a Saturday morning greeting everybody with a smile...' along with other songs with the words on the screen. There was always a black and white cowboy picture with Roy Rogers and Trigger his white horse. The goody rode a white horse and the baddy rode a black one and as each was shown we'd cheer or boo. How much to get in 1/- or 1/6d? I can't remember. Or did you go to the evening shows and let your mates in for free through the fire exits? Happy days.
