Park Lane Croydon
A Memory of Croydon.
I can remember going to the circus in the car park in Park Lane. It would have been in the early 50's which then became the site of the Tech College in later years. Also across the road was the fire station, before St George's tower block was built.
Can anyone remember the coal yard in Dingwall Road on the right hand side from George Street. I went to Coloma prep school in the 50's and hated walking up Dingwall Road on my own to catch the bus at East Croydon home.
