Happy And Great Days
A Memory of Ebchester.
I was born in Dixon Avenue in 1947, We knew everyone in the village. I got a job delivering papers for Ossie and Hilda Paul in 1958.
Dad took me to see the crashed wagon that demolished the chapel, all of us lads spent hours in the Heuffy wood with the dogs rabbiting, now they don't know what to do. Sadly some of the lads have now passed away. Please get in touch with me, I will be pleased to hear from old friends.
