Talavera Junior School
I went to this School from 1968 to 1970 and have such happy memories! I remember lots of school friends and teachers too...especially a Canadian teacher we used to have.....

RE: RE: Talavera Junior School
I remember this school very well. I was a pupil here in approximately 1968/69 after moving up from Marlborough Lines School. I now live in Essex, but on a couple of occasions over the years, I have been to see the old place when I have been in that part of the country. Happy memories! Does anyone remember the cats' masks in the Juniors playground?

I remember the concrete 'cats masks'. I atteneded the school in the early 1970s and the infant school before that. I remember a Miss McQuoid who had a limp and a large man called Mr Johnson. Wasn't there a large NAAFI outside the school with a very futuristic sloping roof?
