More about this scene

The Waveney forms a natural boundary between Norfolk and Suffolk. Along the river frontage are boat yards, moorings and maltings. The church is unusual because the slope of the ground down to Puddingmore meant that the tower had to be built on firmer ground to the south-east of the building. Even so, it seems that the money ran out - the top storey was never added.

I attended music lessons here in the late fifties on a Saturday morning. Did anyone else do the same? Beautiful building inside.
