Little Folks Home

A Memory of Bexhill.

Can anyone remember the little folks home in Bexhill on sea. I was only twelve at the time, this was around 1956. I can only remember a sister Moris and nurse Hancock, I have been back to find the place in 2001 but unfortunately did not find it. I remember the house being a short walk from Bexhill station. There was two ways that you could get to the house one was to walk down a country lane and enter the house from the back and the other was to walk on the main road. The house was very big with a forest behind the back of the house that made up the garden of the property.
If anyone can shed some light on this house I would be very grateful.

Dear Eric1944, I know of the little folks home as my partners nan worked there, it was situated off cooden sea road up from Cooden beach station. Unfortunately it was demolished many years ago and now little common surgery and houses are on the land . Hope this helps x Jen
