Memories

It has been almost 50 years since I have seen the inside of this church. My mother; Molly Risbridger) was married in this church to a Canadian soldier Mr. Ken Lloyd Maxted. I am their son Robert Glenn Maxted. Happy Anniversary! 2007

Robert Glenn might be interested that St. Martin's Church, Blackheath is having a major fund raising campaign to raise £75,000 to restore the unique Anna Lea Merritt wall paintings which cover the walls of this unusual Charles Townsend designed Arts and Crafts Church. If he or anyone else would like to make a contribution to this fund please contact me, Jane Hunter, one of the Church Wardens. If he would like to visit St. Martin's he would be most welcome.
