The mansion and the church sit amid a park of over 200 acres, in an estate of more than 10,000 acres. The church is to the east of the house and looks like a personal chapel, as the village is further away to the west beyond the gates. The church appears to be an appendage to the house and its balustrades include inscriptions written in English. The one here is taken from Jesus' saying about the lilies of the field: 'Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of them'.
