Help!!!

A Memory of Collyhurst.

My name is Malcolm Ruscoe and was born in 1945 and lived all my single life in Weber Street, Collyhurst and I am now in my 70s.
I am in the process of writing my biography for my grandchildren to read when I am no longer around to ask any searching questions of me! I attended St Oswald’s School, and I have searched the internet for a photograph of the school to include in the book, but all to no avail. These searches include the local photographic archive in Manchester and the local archivist office. Can anyone help me find one to add to the book?

Hi Malcolm - my mother, Hilda Day also attended St. Oswalds - she was born in 1931. I have also searched for a photo but have not found anything. Except this youtube video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dTp8gAnT8vc
I hope it helps!
Hi Malcom, we lived at 16 Weber Street until 1061. We used to pass your house on the way to St Malachy’s, across the Croft near the Irk, and Finches house, next to the railway, they had chickens. You may remember my brother Kevin, they called him Didge.
I went to St Oswald and my older brother too Eddie Major he was born in 1946 me 1950 , on Face book there is a page called "Collyhurst for Ever" loads office pics there 👍
"Should read loads of old pictures "
