Conyboro School, Cooksbridge

I went to school here in 1979-1985. Loved being out in the country. We had fun going to visit the farms. And walking to Lewes. We had taken part in the Lewes bonfire night parade every year. I also went to girl guides in Barcombe. And did amateur dramatics in Lewes.

RE: RE: Conyboro School, Cooksbridge

I went to Conyboro School from 1968-1977, enjoyed every bit of the 24 acres, did the bonfire nights in Lewes, and one house master, Tony, used to organise a big display in the field. The yearly fete was also a big deal then, different theme each year, one particular one I remember was Colditz and several cast members from the film appeared in uniform and props. Shame it's no longer a school. Can anyone tell me when it closed as a school?
